Incheon: For the first time in Korean badminton history, four of the badminton legends were seen together on one platform during the Legends’ Vision Korea last Saturday.
Besides Lee Chong Wei who stayed in Malaysia to recover from his early stage nose cancer, the Korea leg of the Legends’ Vision tour included Lee Yong Dae, Lin Dan, Taufik Hidayat and Peter Gade.
The event informally started on Friday when each of the badminton legend was teaching a group of 20 young players in a badminton clinic that was held at Incheon National University.
On December 1st, Lee Yong Dae delivered an opening remarks and the organizer also played a video of Lee Chong Wei who greeted the fans and showed strong interest to be there but told the fans he was advised by his doctors not to travel as he continues with his recovery process.
The Legends’ Vision initiative was launched in 2015, by four badminton greats Lee Chong Wei, Peter Gade, Taufik Hidayat, and Lin Dan and was sponsored by Yonex.
