Ko Sung Hyun/Kim Ha Na of Korea, and Liu Cheng/Bao Yixin round out the top three, while Tontowi Ahmad/Liliyana Natsir still lingered at No. 4.
In this week’s rankings, China’s Chen Long led the men’s singles rankings, with Lee Chong Wei finished runner-up, Kento Momota in the third, while Lin Dan stayed in the seventh spot with 57,747.
In women’s singles, Spain’s Carolina Marin ranked first, Wang Yihan, Li Xuerui and Wang Shixian of China were ranked 2-4.
Lee Yong Dae/Yoo Yeon Seong, Hendra Setiawan/Mohammad Ahsan, Fu Haifeng/Zhang Nan were the top three men’s doubles pair in the chart.
The women’s doubles rankings have remained relatively stable over the past week, as Indonesian pair Nitya Krishinda Maheswari/Greysia Polii stayed atop followed by Kamilla Rytter Juhl/Christinna Pedersen of Denmark and Luo Ying/Luo Yu of China.
According to the rules of the 2016 Olympic qualification, a country can field two players if both are ranked top 16 in singles event and two doubles pairs if both pairs are in the top 8.
