Hyderabad: India’s star shuttler P.V. Sindhu, who became the first Indian woman to win a silver medal in badminton in the Olympics, has decided to return to school to pursue her Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree while playing professional badminton.
“I don’t think I can manage both badminton and studies at the same time initially,” Sindhu told the Indian media.
“However, things become easier when my coach, the professors, and the students are all very supportive and very understanding of my decision of further studies while playing badminton,” added Sindhu.
With all those cash being poured in for her since the Rio Olympics, Sindhu should really know how to manage her money well. Therefore, earning a graduate degree is no doubt a great investment in her future.
