Macau: The Chinese Olympic delegation arrived in Macao on August 29 after their 3-day visit to Hong Kong last week.
As part of the 64-member strong delegation, badminton superstar Lin Dan, Chen Long,the Chinese women’s volleyball team as well as Fu Yuanhui, the swimmer who gained huge fame on the social media, have interacted with local citizens during the visit.
The athletes have attended “A date with the youth” activity to discuss topics about training and competition. They also spent their time with six different communities to speak with local people and showcase their sporting skills with local youngsters at the Tap Seac Multisport Pavilion.
All athletes were given a nice send off by local dignitaries as they boarded a bus on Saturday after wrapping up their 4 day visit to the island.
In the 2016 Rio Olympics, the Chinese delegation won 26 gold, 18 silver and 26 bronze medals.
