Rio 2016: Badminton players are arriving for Olympic Games

Rio: With 5 days to go until the Rio Games open, badminton players, coaches, and officials from all around the world are arriving at the Olympic Village in Rio de Janeiro, although some teams have chosen Sao Paulo (about 443.3 km from Rio de Janeiro) for pre-game training ahead of the upcoming Olympics.Lee Chong Wei and the Malaysian team arriving in Rio.

The Malaysian badminton team has arrived in Rio on July 29, while the Chinese team also arrived in Brazil on July 29, but they are currently training in Sau polo for 9 days before flying to Rio for the Olympics.

Meanwhile, the Indonesia’s national badminton team also arrived at the training base in Sao Paulo before leaving for the Olympic Games in Rio.
