21-year old Chinese Taipei player Tai Tzu Ying topped the list with a total prize money of $102,675 including $67,500 from her Indonesia Open triumph.

After winning three straight Super Series tournaments such as India Open, Malaysia Open and Singapore Open, Thailand’s Ratchanok Intanon was ranked second highest female badminton claiming a handsome $97,800.

Saina Nehwal has pocketed $77,275 after pocketed $7,795 by reaching the Malaysia Open semifinals, and $56,250 by winning the Australian Open. Nehwal also made prize money from other tournaments such as Indonesia Open, India Open and All England.

The World No. 6 Saina Nehwal is currently undergoing training in Bengaluru in preparation for the Rio Olympics.
