Woman’s singles shuttler Xu Wei entered court next for the Serdang BC and put on an impressive match to win 3 points for Serdang by dismissing Kajang BC’s Vu Thi Trang 11-10, 11-8, 7-11, 11-6.
The mixed doubles witnessed an exciting battle between Ruud Bosch/Tse Ying Suet of Serdang and Natcha Saengchote/Wannawat Ampunsuwan of Kajang as they went down to the wire in the fifth set before the Serdang pair survive a huge scare to win at 11-6, 10-11, 5-11, 11-9, 11-10.
Pei Tianyi/Tan Chee Tean fought off a stubborn Kwek Yee Jian/Man Wei Chong pair from Kajang to emerge victorious with 11-8, 11-7, 9-11, 9-11, 11-6 in 30 minutes.
