Taipei: First and foremost this article is not nearly as scary as it sounds, but for a good cause. Tai Tzu Ying who could be considered as the most successful women’s singles player in Taiwan’s badminton history, has been appointed spokesperson for the “2015 Yung-ching Race” 4K run.
The 2015 “Yung-ching Race” 4K run will be held on October 4th, and will kick off simultaneously at three different locations across Taiwan, namely Taipei, Kaohsiung and Chiayi. There were 30,000+ entries already registered for this year’s “Yung-ching Race”.
“Running is an easy sport to get into, people will feel relaxed and in a good mood after jogging,” said Tai Tzu Ying.
Leading out the fun 4k run will be a mascot called “Apple”. The name “Apple” can be seen as a metaphor for striving for healthier lifestyle that uses the widely known idiom “an apple a day keeps the doctor away”.
