Copenhagen: The so-called 4 Heavenly Kings of Badminton – Lee Chong Wei, Lin Dan, Taufik Hidayat, and Peter Gade will be meeting badminton fans in an event called Yonex Legends’ Vision Denmark, at the Solrød Hall on October 11, 2015.
The third of its type, the event will also mark the only time that the Yonex Legends’ Vision being held in Europe; the first two editions having been held in Beijing, China and Jakarta, Indonesia respectively.
The 4 Heavenly Kings of Badminton reigned as the four best players in the world from end of 1990s until present. These players were considered dominant in terms of ranking and tournament victories, including Superseries tournaments, world championships and Olympic Games. In total, the four Heavenly Kings of Badminton have won three Olympic gold medals, six World Championships and nine All England titles. The 2012 Olympic men’s singles final match between Lin Dan and Lee Chong Wei has been classified among the greatest matches in badminton history by a lot of badminton fans.
As main sponsor of the Legends’ Vision, badminton equipment manufacture YONEX hopes the event could promote the sport’s popularity internationally, to inspire young children to pick up badminton racquets, to pursue their dreams and to create their own future in badminton.
The four badminton legends will kick off the event by discussing their vision, mission and objectives of “The Legends’ Vision”, and how they can help develop a sustainable future, and building bridges of hope for the sport of badminton.
Lee Chong Wei, Lin Dan, Taufik Hidayat, and Peter Gade will then hype up the crowd in exhibition matches against each other. Some selected young players will have the chance to share some precious moments with the four badminton legends in some badminton coaching clinics.

Tickets will be available on www.billetlugen.dk for a price of DKK 60 (USD 49), with all ticket proceeds will go to charity.
