Kuala Lumpur: Despite some ups and downs in his relationship with Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) coaches in September, Lee Chong Wei and BAM are moving forward positively as Lee has received more support from BAM during his back-to-back Denmark and France Open Superseries tournaments in Europe, spanning over 2 weeks from Oct 13 to Oct 25.Hope Lee Chong Wei can find the spark to rejuvenate his 2015 season at Denmark and France Open. The 32-year-old Malaysian badminton superstar will be accompanied by his coach Hendrawan at both tournaments, and will be joined by No. 33 Chong Wei Feng as his sparring partner at France Open.

Lee does not need to start from the qualifying rounds in both tournaments, and Hendrawan was hoping this could give Lee more opportunity to seek greater balance and improve performance.

“Our target was to improve his ranking to qualify for the Rio Olympics. He does not have to play in the qualifying, hopefully he will produce much better outcomes at these two tournaments,” said Hendrawan.

Lee suffered his worst career loss last Tuesday when he was knocked out of Korea Open first qualifying round by 2013 world junior champion Heo Kwang-hee.
