Tokyo: Japan unveiled its bid for the 2019 Badminton World Federation (BWF) World Championships as the world’s top players continue the countdown to the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.
According to Kyodo News, the Nippon Badminton Association have already contacted BWF to inform them of their interest in staging the event. BWF will decide the host nation for the 2019 world meet on May 2016.
