China sweep all 5 titles at 2015 Asia Junior Championship

Bangkok: China continued to show its badminton dominance even at the junior level, when they swept all five gold medals at the Asia Junior Championship on Sunday.Lin Guipu is a highly promising youngsters from China.

In girls’ singles final, He Bingjiao of China enjoyed a clear advantage as she had no problems running down everything Chochuwong Pornpawee of Thailand threw at her. He Bingjiao clinched the girls’ singles match against her Thai opponent decisively with 21-16, 21-17.  That victory allowed China to regain their first Asia girls’ title in four years after Sun Yu won it in 2011.

The 2014 world junior champion Lin Guipu of China, added another title to his belt in Bangkok on Sunday, started strong and winning in the first set with 21-16 against Seo Seung Jae of Korea.  Lin continued to pressure the Korean in second set, and managed to hold his ground to win the boys’ title after earning a 21-11 second set victory.

Mixed doubles top seeds, Zheng Si Wei/Chen Qingchen ensured that the mixed doubles title would remain in China’s possession, after they defeated second Choi Jong Woo/Kim Hye Jeong of Korea 21-8,21-12.

In the all-Chinese girls’ doubles and boys’ doubles finals, Du Yue/Li Yin Hui dispatched Chen Qingchen/Jia Yi Fan 21-14,18-21, 21-18 to clinch the girls’ doubles title, while He Jiting/Zheng Si Wei came out on top against Han Chengkai/Zhou Haodong 21-19, 18-21, 21-18 to claim the boys’ doubles title.
