Vienna: Former world number one and five time European Champion Peter Gade will play an exhibition game in the final day of Austrian Open on February 21. Peter Gade will face Austrian badminton player Michael Lahnsteiner who will play the last match of his career on Sunday.
The exhibition match is to pay tribute and make it a special farewell for Lahnsteiner who took part in 2012 Summer Olympics in London.
With nearly 250 badminton players from over 35 different countries, the Austrian Open is one of the biggest events on the Badminton Europe circuit.
