However, Agripina Prima Rahmanto Putra/Markis Kido of Puchong United fought from behind when they were trailed at 6-10 in the decider to clinch the victory from Chen Jia Huo/Shia Chun Kang of Petaling in the first men’s doubles match. The win helped Puchong United levelled the score at 5-5.

The third and fourth match followed a similar pattern when Lim Yin Fun and Ardiansyah Putra/Chen Jiao of Petaling BC dropped their first set in women’s singles and mixed doubles matches respectively, before rallied to win their matches in four sets.

Although Soo Teck Zhi lost to Daren Liew of Puchong United in the second men’s singles match, but when Ian Wong Jien Sern/Lew Ming Hui managed to steal two sets from Tan Wee Gieen/Yew Hong Kheng of Puchong United, they did just enough to ensure victory for Petaling over Puchong United with the final score of 14 – 13.

In a tie that was held earlier Saturday, Petaling Jaya BC that spearheaded by Nguyen Tien Minh, emerged as winner against Nusajaya with final score of 15-8.

Two teams with the league’s worst record Bangsar Hawks BC and Kajang BC squared off on Friday afternoon. Although Bangsar Hawks BC won at 13-8, it remained in last place at Purple League.
