Kuala Lumpur: With 3 ties on the schedule yesterday, Ampang Jaya BC that spearheaded by Goh Giap Chin defeated Kajang BC 14-8. Meanwhile, Kepong BC overcame a shaky start, fought back to defeat Serdang BC 13-11 in a tightly contested tie.

Badminton comeback king Lee Hyun-il of Korea who has retired from badminton numerous times, proved he has not lost his touch in the game as he did not face any trouble beating former Asian junior champion Soo Teck Zhi 10-11, 11-6, 11-9, 11-1, to carry his Muar City BC team in victory over Petaling BC 16-9.

With the win, Muar City BC is currently the highest ranking team in Purple League with total of 21 points.
