Kuala Lumpur: It’s confirmed! BAM will split up Lim Khim Wah and Goh V Shem after the World Championships in Copenhagen which will be held from August 25 to August 31, 2014.Lim Khim Wah (left) and Goh V Shem are the 2014 Malaysian Open men's doubles champions

Lim Khim Wah-Goh V Shem has shown some improvements by winning the Malaysian Open early this year, but Lim Khim Wah’s poor serve have had a devastating impact on the pair especially during crunch time.

The break-up was beginning to seem inevitable when Goh V Shem and Tan Wee Kiong showed superb performance at the Thomas Cup last month by defeating top men’s doubles pair from Korea and Japan.

The 25 year-old only played once with V Shem at the Thomas cup, where they prevailed over Peter Kaesbauer / Josche Zurwonne of Germany 21-12 21-18.

Khim Wah will partner with V Shem in the Indonesia Open on June 17- to June 22, and in the World Championships; other than that, he will try out his new partnership with Ow Yao Han in Japan Open which will be held from  June 10  to June 15, and Australia open from June 24 to June 29.

The future of Khim Wah-V Shem partnership will depend on their result in the Indonesia Open.

On the other hand, V Shem will partner Tan Boon Heong in Japan Open and Tan Wee Kiong in the Australia Open.

According to Khim Wah, the reason for the lineup tweaks was to find a perfect partner for Boon Heong. He is not really worried that V Shem got more chances to spar with others. “ I am not upset about any of these, and I don’t want to think about the world championships yet. I want to remain focus, and want to show to everyone else what I can do in the upcoming tournaments,” he added.
