Copenhagen: The men’s doubles pair, ranked World No. 25 – Man Wei Chong and Tee Kai Wun, displayed their prowess by defeating the French duo Lucas Corvee and Ronan Labar in a straight-set victory of 21-17, 21-18 in the opening round of the Copenhagen World Championships on Tuesday.

In the men’s singles category, defending champion Viktor Axelsen experienced a smooth sail through the second round, defeating Christo Popov with a decisive score of 21-6, 21-8. Axelsen is set to face Taiwan’s Chou Tien Chen in an highly anticipated clash in the third round.
Adding to the success, Singapore’s 2021 men’s singles World Champion, Loh Kean Yew, showcased his skill by prevailing over Ade Resky Dwicahyo of Arzebaijian with a commanding score of 21-4, 21-11. This victory sets the stage for an exciting third round encounter against India’s HS Prannoy.
