Viktor Axelsen of Denmark is still at the top spot while compatriot Anders Antonsen will drop one spot to World No. 3.
Shi Yuqi who defeated Lee in the 2022 Denmark Open final, will move up four places to World No. 40.
The rest of the men’s singles top 10 will remain the same.
Kodai Naraoka who gave Shi Yuqi a run for his money in the Denmark Open semi-finals finally broke into World’s top 20 for the first time to rank at World No. 20.
With their victory at the Denmark Open, Indonesia’s Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto are closing in on teammates Hendra Setiawan/Mohammad Ahsan. Alfian/Ardianto will be in the No. 6 spot with total points of 88055 while Setiawan/Ahsan have a total of 88115 points.
Marcus Fernaldi Gideon/Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo who dropped to World No. 3 in last week’s ranking, will regain the No. 2 spot this week.
Despite losing to the Denmark Open champion – He Bingjiao in the Denmark Open women’s singles quarter-finals last Friday, Akane Yamaguchi of Japan is still at the top of the chart, followed by Tai Tzu Ying, An Se Young, Chen Yufei, and PV Sindhu.
