Jakarta: Malaysia’s World No. 13 mixed doubles players – Goh Soon Hua/Shevon Jemie Lai who arrived in Indonesia two weeks ago and are currently being trained by Indonesia’s 2000 Sydney Olympics men’s doubles gold medalist – Candra Wijaya in Banten, Indonesia.
On Saturday, Goh posted a picture of them eating dinner with Wijaya and his wife, alongside the Tokyo Olympics women’s doubles gold medalist – Greysia Polii and her husband.
Goh said in his post “Blessed to have a gathering with great friends/ legends tonight 🙏 thank you all for having us . #greatdinner #catchup #pleassuretomeetyouall #thankyou”.

Just two days ago, Shevon Lai uploaded a photo in which the two Malaysians looked cheerful celebrating the Chinese New Year with Wijaya’s friends and family members.

Another picture of Goh/Lai enjoying a delicious meal with Wijaya.
Goh/Lai’s training with Wijaya was arranged by their sponsor Metamorphosis Medic Sdn Bhd. Goh/Lai are now preparing for the 2022 All England tournament that will take place in Birmingham from March 16 to March 20.
The Malaysian couple decided to go public with their relationship as boyfriend and girlfriend at the end of 2021.
