Beijing: ​After Lin Dan announced his retirement from professional badminton on July 4, 2020, praise for him started pouring in from around the world.

The Badminton World Federation (BWF) posted several messages on its social media pages by calling the Chinese badminton legend “The Glorious Super Dan”, while Lin Dan’s arch-rival Lee Chong Wei also paid emotional tributes to the greatest rival of his career.
