Jakarta: A funny scene was caught on camera by Indonesia’s men’s doubles coach Herry Iman Pierngadi at the Badminton Association of Indonesia (PBSI) dormitory where both World No. 6 men’s singles player Anthony Sinisuka Ginting and World No. 6 men’s doubles player Muhammad Rian Ardianto were showing off both of their abdominal muscles.
The video uploaded by Herry IP showed Ardianto was drying clothes in the backyard, then, the 2020 Indonesia Masters champion, Anthony Sinisuka Ginting was joking that Ardianto looked fat when both were undergoing self-isolation at the Indonesia national training center.
“Jombang (Ardianto’s nickname) is fat, eh,” said Ginting.
“Who cares? The important thing is healthy right?” replied Ardianto.
Not wanting to lose, Anthony joked again as he boasted, “His stomach is different from mine, eh,” as he looked at his own six-pack.

Although PBSI allowed players to return to their homes after a 14-days quarantine at the Indonesia national training center when they came back from the All England tournament, a number of athletes still chose to stay at the PBSI dormitory. Some players are doing light training while PBSI would resume normal training after Lebaran.
Lebaran is the popular name for Eid al-Fitr in Indonesia and is one of the major national holiday in the country. It is the celebration that comes at the end of the Muslim month of fasting, Ramadhan.
