Taipei: After Badminton World Federation (BWF) made the announcement last Monday that it has decided to cancel all tournaments in May, June and July in response to growing international coronavirus outbreak, reactions from badminton players around the world had been predominantly positive, praising BWF’s decision in keeping the players safe and healthy.

Despite the cancellations due to the Covid-19 pandemic, it did not slow down World No. 1 women’s singles player Tai Tzu Ying as she continues to train and prepare for future tournaments with great confidence.

In addition, she showed considerable talent for playing something so-called “foot badminton”, kicking shuttlecock in style while trying to have fun in training. She may be able to make a career switch and to claim world number one spot in “foot badminton” when she retires from the regular badminton.

Video below shows Tai had lot of fun at the gym with her teammates playing “foot badminton”.
