Xiamen: An 83-member Chinese badminton team led by Chen Long has arrived in Xiamen, Fujian on Dec 27th, 2019 and began a 41-day closed door training session in preparation for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
The training took place at Xiamen Fulong Sports Park. Video below showed Chen Long and Shi Yuqi who were practicing in the Xiamen winter training camp. (video: Facebook)
Players who joined the training camp consist of Lin Dan, Chen Long, Shi Yuqi, Zhang Nan, Chen Yufei, Zheng Siwei and together with singles and doubles head coach such as Xia Xuanze, Zhang Jun. Two foreign coaches – Kang Kyung-Jin, and Yoo Yong-sung from South Korea were also in Xiamen working with the Chinese team.
