Taipei: World No. 1 women’s singles player Tai Tzu Ying of Taiwan has long been known for having a chiseled six-pack. On Tuesday, she posted a series a photos highlighting her strong trapezius muscles, including partially nude photos showing her bare back. Those pictures quickly went viral on the Internet and she has already received 48k likes on Instagram as of Wednesday morning.
Tai’s fans are taking to her Instagram to leave hilarious comments such as “can you turn over?”, “I want to know who took the pictures”, “wow, those look like bull horns”.
Meanwhile, the 25-year-old has reached another milestone this week as she celebrated her 134th week at No. 1 in the BWF ranking. She has been focusing in training and has not been competing in any international tournaments in June.
However, she is slated to play at the Indonesia Open starting July 16, where she will open against Yeo Jia Min of Singapore. She will then participate at the Japan Open, which will start on July 23 and then the Thailand Open on July 30th. Of course, her primary target this year would be to win the World Championships that will be held in Basel, Switzerland, from Aug 19 to Aug 25.
