Markham: Malaysia’s Goh Jin Wei who won the BWF World Junior title in 2015 at the age of 15, reclaimed the BWF World Junior in Markham, Canada, on Sunday when she put on one of the best efforts in her young career to beat No. 13 seed Line Christophersen of Denmark 21-13, 21-11 to regain the World Junior title.
After the victory, Goh became the third girls’ singles player who had won the championships more than one time. Thailand’s Ratchanok Intanon won it three-times (2009, 2010, 2011) and Japan’s Akane Yamaguchi had won it twice (2013, 2014).
