Wuhan: The China men’s and women’s national badminton team have arrived in Wuhan, preparing for the 2018 Badminton Asia Championships that will be held from April 24th to April 29.
On April 16th, the Chinese Badminton team conducted their first training in Wuhan. Fans hoping to see Lin Dan and Chen Long were disappointed because the two top men’s singles players did not show up on the training. Instead, both tried to stay under the radar and to pursue undisturbed strength training at a small fitness club nearby.
It is worth mentioning that the China badminton team will remain at Wuhan after the 2018 Badminton Asia Championships. They will continue to enter an ‘important’ training camp before departing for the Thomas and Uber Cup Finals that will kick off in Bangkok Thailand from May 20th to May 27.
